Also, has anyone undertaken the task of writing a proper biography of Klaus? I know "The Nomi Song" covered all the high points of his music/performance career pretty well but I would hope that somebody has or will undertake the task while the people who knew him personally are still alive. |

I couldn't find any pictures that would print out very well, so I just went the old-fashioned route and did it freehand with a pen.
Good old shrinky-dinks! And sharpie markers, what can you NOT do with sharpies?
I got a little happy with the spray lacquer so the ink bled a little but oh well.
And thanks to my annoying wicker computer desk, he doesn't even need help standing up!
Apologies to the spirit of Klaus Nomi for any wonky proportions/anatomy, I typically doodle animals, not people, so I'm not so great at that. X(
So has any one else here done any Nomi-flavored artsy-craftsies? |

Does anybody have any clear full-body large-size or high-resolution images of Nomi? Something of him in his triangular tux costume and full make-up (think lightning strikes video)?? Or if not full body at least from his head down to the bottom of the "triangle" part of his costume. And maybe also his black/white stripey logo graphic.
I'm looking something suitable for printing out. I've got a pack of printable shrink plastic that needs to be Nomi'd and turned into earrings and/or necklace and/or little stand-ups to put on my desk and weird out my boring white-bread coworkers. :P |

Hi y'all! *waves* Just joined.
I was trolling yootoob for new Bowie stuff I hadn't already seen 5,000,000 times last Friday and found this delightful gem and THAT VOICE and now I have spent ALL WEEKEND trolling the tube for more Nomi and stayed up til 2 am last night watching the Nomi Song over at that snagfilms site (which made me cry at the end *sniff*).
I think I'm hooked. Help! Where do I go from here? I NEED TO FEED MY NEW ADDICTION. =D
As soon as I get home after new years I shall be trolling the used record stores in town for vinyl though I'm not holding my breath, I get the feeling his records, like Nomi himself, are a rare sight. I assume they've been reissued on CD I hope?
Also, does anybody know any good picture sites? I need to make some icons as soon as I get back home (can't really do it on this teeny netbook). Little old Ziggy will have to be the singer-from-Mars stand-in for the moment I suppose *grumblegrumble* |
